Technology Software

At HomeTown Pharmacy LTC, we use technology to streamline our consult, pharmacy, and billing services. This makes managing information easier for our long-term care customers.

eMAR Interface

Through our pharmacy operating system, QS1, we are able to interface with any electronic medication administration record (eMAR) using the standard HL7 /NCPDP 10.6 XML programming code. This capability lends itself to numerous efficiencies to be realized during medication administration within your facility. The value of a med-pass that has bar-code verification has been proven to increase safety and efficiency, things that can create a competitive advantage for any long-term care site.

The following are the more common interfaces we support:

  • Point Click Care
  • ECS American Data
  • MDI Achieve
  • Keane
  • Optimus
  • AOD
  • Cerner
  • Health MedEx
  • Extended Care Professional (ECP)
  • Eldermark
