HomeTown Pharmacy is a family owned and operated Retail Pharmacy Chain that strives to provide the best pharmacy care for all patients. We are actively searching for someone who is passionate, friendly, and caring for patients and are able to work in a fast paced ever changing environment.
Multiple positions available throughout both Retail Pharmacy and Long Term Care Pharmacy with opportunity to grow.
Greeting customers, identifying and fulfilling their needs both behind the pharmacy and in the front end.
Data entry, such as inputting prescriptions, medical and billing information. As well as Prior Authorizations, verifying prescriptions, contacting doctors offices and patients.
Maintain uncompromising level of cleanliness both in and out of the pharmacy.
Placing and Receiving drug orders as well as organizing and putting away drugs.
Works with the Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care and promote well being.
Adhere to federal and state laws and regulations in regards to HIPPA, FWA, as well as other various laws and regulations.
Contributes to a team atmosphere, recognizing that everyone works together to uphold our HomeTown Pharmacy Golden Standard.
Must be a positive and friendly individual who shows care and passion even in times of stress.
Be able to multitask to ensure that timelines and standards are met.
Excellent verbal and writing communication
Organization and excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of health care laws and regulations
Excellent in customer service.
All Pharmacy technicians are to become licensed and certified shortly after their hire date to be able to work directly with dispensing.
